Father & daughter at Ardmore Cafe…I really liked this photo and they were relaxed and friendly to talk to. They knew I took their photo and didn’t seem to mind. They are happy. That is what matters.
I admired her 2 dragons and his son also had 2 dragons…
It’s a great cafe and one way to watch planes …
In my view, I think that families should be a happy space for all…
They look very happy. We rarely see such scenes.
Which is why I posted the view…
Daughter are always cute and loving
Well, she also seems very happy.
The photo reminds me of my daughter when she was 8 years old.
Thanks so much Alex, daughters are great .
They look happy and happy … I avoid taking pictures of strangers, dear Pamela
Yes, you are right Lado, my first and last time…
I believe that too, dear Pamela …. I’m really uncomfortable
Yes well what is done is done so will leave it here as it is and hope that all have good intentions
I don’t think there is such a problem here at Virily, dear Pamela
Nice photo to share with us all.
Thanks Jenna, I think they looked really relaxed and happy which is why I shared the photo
It certainly looks like they are enjoying their time together.
Thanks Ghostwriter glad you like it.
That is a lovely photo of the father and daughter. The good thing is you had their permission, which is always good.
Thanks CoffeeQueen, glad you like it….
Pam, I wouldn’t worry about the legality of pictures. The reality is you have permission. As long as the parent says you may capture the child’s picture it is ok.
Any picture with a child must be with the permission of the parent. the same is true for any information about that child (name etc).
You did a wonderful job sharing information and conveying proper permission.
Well, I probably won’t do that again, just to be on the safe side, but I really liked this family a lot.
Wanted to show off their good vibes….
I feel a bit awful about the people who prey on others….
Yet those creepy types get what is coming to them in the end..
Sad to think that people are around like that
I suspect there is more good people than bad people out there. At least I hope I am right.
Well, I like to think the best of people..
i do as well, there are many times I struggle with that. Online often brings out the worst in people. Plus when you stop to watch the news, you always see the worst of people.
Thanks Doc, I think you are right.
Taking snaps of people without their permission I am told is an offence But you asked their permission
Totally agree, one time I don’t mind sharing a photo…
It is sometimes impossible to avoid doing this – if you take a picture of an old building with people passing by you cannot possibly be expected to ask the permission of all of them. However, I have often found myself in the position of having people looking in my direction and being aware that they will be in my shot. In those cases I will always ask.
The really important thing is to avoid getting unknown children in your photos, especially if you are intending to publish them in any way – such as on Virily. You may not know who the children are, but someone else, with more sinister motives, may know exactly who they are and – more importantly – where they are.
I was in the US I think and on a plane. A cute looking girl was seated there. I got tempted to take her picture but the air hostess told me it was not permitted.
I won’t publish any person unknown to me again and hope no one sinister ever sees it
Thanks I did not think of people with sinister intent. Awful they have no idea where they live.
I was thinking of the situation where an abused woman has left her home and taken the children with her so that the man in question will not follow them. There have been cases of men like this killing all of them when he caught up.
Awful situation, that does happen….unfortunately
