Tips to know before buying lighting for home landscape

The yellow luminous shade fits perfectly with green grass. The warm tone gives the garden a charm and space. If you are striving for comfort, you should not admire the cold white Hi-tech style light or dark colors, such as gloomy lights with a dark red color. The light shades of cool shades noticeably increase the space visually and will be for those who want the garden to look bigger at night.

Some of the objects will look better, more impressive, illuminated from the top. The tree illuminated with lamp garland looks like fairy tale illustration, for which a lot of design work has been done: every time it takes to think how to hide the necessary wires between the twigs to not harm the plant. After all, the use of ordinary incandescent bulbs that heavily heat, the leaves can burn. The disadvantages are also possible in the winter when the leaves are not left on the trees: the buds, “sleeping” at low temperatures, react to its elevation, which is felt even near the small bulbs.

In the winter, the day’s short, the lighting is switched on at 16-17 hour, and the tree wrapped by garland “is heated” until the morning. When the lighting is switched off, the tree suffers from temperature fluctuations.Due to this kind of heating, the buds are “waking up” and later freeze, so the tree gets sick. This example demonstrates that the landscape designer has to be very precise to imagine not only the whole future picture but also the possible consequences. In addition, it is very important to know the various light bulbs technical characteristics.

Useful tips

Even the smallest power luminaires must be reliably protected from dust and moisture. The higher are indicators of international index IP, (the first letter indicates the level of protection from dust, and the second – from moisture), the more reliable protection is. For example, 2 and 3 are the lowest minimum protection step.
