Succulents have thick fleshy leaves that store water. They have a few roots that draw the moisture and nutritients from the soil. And also, they can live for some time out of the ground.
Succulent plants should be watered occasionally. The frequency is governed by the size of the pot, its placement and various environmental factors.Do not water the leaves, but direct the water to the soil under the plants. Many succulents will burn in full sun.Typically, succulents are happier with a little shade, so they don’t be over exposed to sunlight. They need a place with good air circulation. Through the winter, they should be placed indoors.
