I tend to think it was revenge at my audacity too! Now I have given up the fight until spring, by which time I hope the wind will have forgotten the insult 🙂

I’ve actually read that a solid barrier (like plastic or glass) is a less effective wind-break than something the wind can find its way through, but more slowly, like trees, or that membrane I have on the thing. It’s kind of counter-intuitive isn’t it!

I was researching on what kind of greenhouse I could get for my desert property, I was wondering about that, I had heard of it. I think we decided against the plastic because of the dryness. They wont last a season out there. Well, at least it is easy to reapply right? Can I just turn it into a mini house and live in your garden?

I think the wind around our way is on a short fuse anyway, after the erection of wind turbines on the surrounding hilltops. It doesn’t take kindly to being slowed down!
