Growing Kids and Veggies~

Looking back on this picture from 5 years ago, I’m amazed how much my youngest son Jacob has grown, and helped with many spring plantings and fall harvests since. I really can’t think of many things that bring a family together as a unit as gardening, and enjoying the rewards together. There is no phone app or video game that can replace a child’s need to get their hands in the dirt, and learn about about all the cycles of a natural life, and the nurture of growing seeds,  and caring to be sure they have all the necessities to thrive.

With all this also comes “Grounding” or getting back in rhythm with the earths harmonics, and our own natural frequencies, that are being so disrupted by the technological advancements we all so crave, constantly polluting and our world. Maybe if we all taught our children to garden, and farm, instead of computer technology, and consumerism, their will be hope of the planets survival for future generations.

  1. I fully agree with you. Children often have such activities. There is time for everything even for computers. Such habits should have young people.

  2. I agree completely! However, it would be a lot easier if our great government would stop outlawing nature and putting expensive taxes on enjoying it. I love that the zucchini is almost as big as he is lol Wonderful post! 🙂
