Living in the deep south of the united states I get to witness some of the most beautiful flowers in the fall time of the year.
Black eye Susan`s show up and show out in October.
Golden Rod, while some say it makes them sneeze it is still a pretty plant to see when conditions are dry and its like the goodbye to summer flower.
Confederate Rose, the one shrub you see green from Spring till freeze but only shows its huge blooms of pink in late September and October.
Wild Asters are so dainty, tiny with or pale purple flowers on this long stem with whispy leaves.
And Last! Mums! Mums come in colors of yellow, orange, purple and a creamy white, these will last into another cold month, they love this time of the year.
Do you have a favorite fall flower?

I love flowers but I don’t get along with the goldenrods. They give me severe headaches.
I usually get mums each year in (you guessed it) Purple and Gold!!! Geaux Tigers!!
I can look at them endlessly. They are so soothing and mesmerizing
They are some pretty flowers. I love when people, share photos of flowers this time of year. The cold weather is creeping in. It went from 65 degrees to 30 degrees, here in New Jersey. The flowers are dying.
We had a couple cold nights but some survived.
What lovely fall flowers! My favorites are mums and marigolds
I will say mums for me too.
Mums are probably my favorite, I love the burgundy.
Oh me too! I like to mix those with the creamy white for that “look” that makes them both pop.
Oh my! Thank you so much for sharing these photos. I can actually feel a calming coming over me.
Flowers do that to me too, that is why I want the new greenhouse so badly.
lovely flowers – other than the goldenrod (I sneezed just seeing your picture)!
I love the color of fall, never thought about a favorite fall flower. I guess mums.
I also like the different variety if mums, the daisy mums and the pompom mums.
mums the word but I like them as well!
we usually put them in our front yard in the fall, but we’ve been super busy on other stuff.
Same here, I have not bought flowers this year at all, I never know if I have to leave for the hospital with Tony, so its not fair to starve them for water.
yes, you are in a tougher row to hoe than me right now.
