Cucumber picking started in my garden

Robin Biznis June 2 22.2018 Belgrade, Serbia

Today, for the first time, I began to harvest cucumbers from my garden.

Rainbows that fell almost every day slowed the growth of the cucumber slightly.

However, as the soil is good and saturated with nutrients, it was helped by the growth of the cucumber itself.

In photo one you see the planted cucumbers.

In  photo two you see a cucumber that has not yet been picked up.

In photo three, you see cucumbers that I picked up for meal.

In photo 4 you see the other side of the garden where the melon is planted.

In the background you can see an old house, and a well that is a watering pool.

Ingredients                                   Quantity

  • fresh cucumber                     3
  • sour milk                               1
  • white garlic                            3
  • connection of the peacock    1
  • vegeta, pepper – as you wish

Preparation:

I do not recommend that cucumber peel. Then it’s hard to make it. Just wash them well with water. Chop garlic finely and add to cucumbers.

Put one or two tablespoons of sour milk over cucumbers. Add salt, pepper and aroma according to your taste. Cool before serving. Enjoy salads.

P.S. You need to know: Cucumber is a diuretic .If you have high blood pressure, you do not add it and vice versa.

  1. Your marvellous post reminded me of those times when our family had a kitchen-garden. It was so nice to wake up in the morning, pick a fresh cucumber and appetizing crunch it!!! Thanks you so much for returning me in that happy past!!!

  2. Cucumbers are very good for diabetics, too. My partner loves to soak hers in vinegar, but I find that too sour. The English love cucumber sandwiches, with the bread cut very fine. Love your series of photos!

  3. This brings back memories, we always had these growing up. My Mom made pickles a lot, they were delicious. And we had them sliced in vinegar, that was good as well.
