Painting My Walls

Thursday, October 05, 2017

Today, I felt productive. I worked on my graphic novel all morning until someone from the Association showed up in the afternoon, and he worked on painting the discoloration from the leaking roof. We painted most of the walls, more than I expected, and the can of paint is with me so that I can touch up certain areas as needed. My walls look so much better and clean. At least, now, I know the exact color to use because I plan to paint the hallway walls on my own. I think I also need to do one living room wall. The Association guy will probably come tomorrow morning to check on other stuff, like the attic and broken roof tile. Then, I need to clean the carpet upstairs before I reorganize that room. I never thought I was going to get the walls painted because my living ceiling is very high and I can’t paint all the way to the top. But it doesn’t really matter because we painted the discolored areas as well as the dirty walls, and it blended well and looks as good as new. I might eventually buy another can of paint.

I am slowly remodeling my 1986 townhouse. It is going through a transformation into a more sophisticated bohemian décor.

Those manga posters in the background of the above picture are no longer on my wall. I have decided for a sophisticated approach, which including finally painting my walls and hanging my own enlarged photos, along with other store-bought pictures. I actually have more throw pillows on my couch as well as some throw blankets. I like the comfy look, which is comprised with lots of pillows and blankets.
