This quote is probably the moto of Karim Rashid, the most prolific designer in the world. He is an industrial designer with over 3000 designs in production, more than 300 awards and projects in more than 40 countries in the world. The list of his customers includes brands like: Alessi, Artemide, Audi, Cappellini, Carolina Herrera, Edra, Egizia, EsteeLauder, Foscarini, Giorgio Armani, Kenzo, Magis, Prada, Sony, Swarovski, Toyota, Veuve Clicquot, Zanotta, Gorenje etc.
Besides that, he hosts parties around the world as a DJ, and is a frequent guest lecturer at universities and conferences globally.
Karim is already a legend of modern design. His designs and personal style evolve around one color: pink. He thinks that the pink color is “energetic, fulgent, engaging” and that “communicates the idea of immateriality, entropy, energy and strong optimism”. Also, he thought that by wearing all- white or pink colored outfits will “detach” him from the other architects and designers that wear all black head-to-toe outfits.
