  1. Good article, Ali. The potassium in a banana is also good if you suffer from restless leg syndrome. There is also a debate over whether or not bananas help repel mosquitos. Some people say that they don’t help but, during the summer I don’t get bitten anywhere near as much as my wife who doesn’t eat a lot of bananas.
