US Salmon goes GMO by end of 2019

source

Later this year, the first genetically modified organized (GMO) salmon will go out for sale within the United States of America.  The salmon has been approved for sale by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  FDA!

What’s the difference with this salmon than regular salmon?  Usually, it takes about five years for a salmon to grow to full length.  However, the demand for salmon now exceeds the wait time for salmon to grow.  The GMO salmon has been genetically modified to grow to full length at 18 months.  Since the salmon has been modified by Monsanto, the fish is filled with glyphosate, the same chemical used in the weed killer RoundUp that has caused cancer within its users.  Bayer AG, the owner of Monsanto, should prepare for more lawsuits if the Frankenfish causes any problems.

  1. I first protested this stuff in 1999. My coworkers at the museum got a laugh out of the Frankenfood flyer for a second then it was, “Let’s go hang some art. Somebody’s got to do it.”
I was amazed in 2014 when I was annoying people for signatures to put a measure on the ballot that so many people asked me, “What’s GMO?”. To know the history – the who, what, when, where, why – is truly frightening. I have archived hundreds of scientific studies and taken on the Monsatan trolls on social media. …….
Dig, if you want to understand the tactics, and be away from the hotbed of the issue, read
“Lead Wars: The Politics of Science and the Fate of America’s Children” by Gerald Markowitz and David Rosner. The game they are playing is old and tired, …. and effective.
MEMO to consumers: Your governments won’t help you or care; but, no one can make you buy stuff. (that is yet – the end goal is for you to have no choice. Control food and you control people)

  2. So these modified fish are being grown in specific areas well away from the ocean so that there cannot be cross-breeding.

However, if you are going to be worried about genetic modification look no further than the human race itself.

The average height of humans has increased every century for the past 1000 years. That, FYI is agentic and nutrition modification.
