A fellow intern of mine introduced me to this place called Lindy’s Chili & Gerties Ice Cream near my internship site. After looking at some of the items on its menu and pictures shared on Yelp, I discovered the turtle sundae which at the time I vowed to try once I finished my internship in the area. I want to throw it out there that it is as tasty as it looks. Lindy’s Chili & Gerties Ice Cream reminded me of a restaurant called Steak ‘n Shake yet it is smaller and does not serve breakfast items like Steak ‘n Shake does.

Hi Thomas, I had a hiatus from Virily, now I’m back 🙂 Actually I cannot allow myself an ice cream too often because of my throat but I have a dessert alternative also sweet and tasty and joyful for me. My favourite dessert is the one called Anna Pavlova named after the famous Russian ballerine of the last century. Just google how it looks like! It has strawberries, kiwi and cream on top.
Wow, it looks tasty. The version I saw reminds me of a strawberry shortcake minus the kiwi. As for a hiatus, I have taken one too. I have been posting articles once a week, and visiting the site twice a week.
This dessert is also popular in Australia and New Zealand! What I like most about it is the contrast of soft marshmallow and solid meringue inside. I love this mix of tastes!

I’am a believer in treating thyself to the greatest treats here and now because life is short. Life is short, so why hold back on tasting goodies like this.

Now that is a Sundae! I don’t think i’ve ever been, but haven’t been in Chicago in more than five years.
