   • Thank you. I will look for it. My husband and I discovered why India called turmeric “gold”. It is definitely not just because of the color. That spice is an incredible wonder.

     • Yes, it is considered to be a superfood. It improves health and prevents us from having cancer or Alzheimer

2. We have this wonderful spice and tea store that we go to, it has some of everything! It makes for a wonderful pantry.

   Thanks for the tips, I am going to try the freezing fresh spices!

   • I watched another cooking show and saw the lady put herbs in an ice cube tray, pour water over them and make cubes. She said when she wanted to use them in a recipe she would just pop a cube out and use it.

     • i’ve done that one in the past – works well for soups!
