1 can of mushrooms or 1 cup of chopped fresh mushrooms
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. bottled steak sauce
1 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
Chop up the mushrooms (if using fresh mushrooms chop and sauté for about 10 minutes). In a large bowl combine mushrooms, ground beef, and steak sauce. Shape the ground beef into 4 balls. Make an indentation in the center of each ball and add some cheese. Shape the ground beef around the cheese making sure to enclose the cheese completely. Then flatten the balls into patties. Place into a hot skillet and cook until done.
