We came here for my 20th Birthday! The setting is beautiful pretty gardens twinkle with lights underneath the Brooklyn Bridge. The views across the river to Manhattan are surely unrivalled?
We had mentioned the special occasion when we booked but that seemed to fall on deaf ears we didn’t get a great table with a view and all the tables are packed quite close together. The tables are very pretty and decorated with fresh flower posies.
We found the service extremely good the food excellent. The wine seemed quite expensive we chose a New Zealand Sauvignon that was $55 at home we could have got it for £6. I know obviously its restaurant prices but still seemed a bit steep. The main down side on our visit was a large table of very loud American women who managed to drown out everyone, it did dint the romance of the venue.
I would definitely recommend this place its fabulous but it doesn’t come cheap.
It is one a year celebration, I hope you enjoyed it somehow!
