Do not ignore them as a fruit

Cherries, which are the same family of fruits, including peaches, plums, apricots and almonds, are often considered to be “dessert” fruit used in pies or perhaps to decorate cocktails (like cherry maraschino).

Cherries, however, also have a healthy side that offers therapeutic health benefits because this fruit is rich in antioxidants and many other good health-promoting substances.
