Native Rice Cakes – 365 Photos Challenge #3

I want to continue the 365 photo challenge which I stopped doing when I become inactive because of other equally important tasks. I hope I could finish it this time.

We conducted a field testing audit on Child-Friendly Local Governance which is one of the special programs of our agency. The main purpose of the activity was to assess if the city is implementing programs for the benefit of the children. The activity was attended by the City Mayor and the head of offices in the City. The presentation lasts for almost three hours.

After the activity, we were offered to have a snack. This was what they served. Different kinds of native rice cakes perfectly arranged inside a native woven bamboo skin strips or what we called ‘bilao’ which is often used for winnowing rice.

Do you have bilao in your place?
