When you have autoimmune issues, try to avoid these foods to heal your body.
- Gluten or wheat-gluten
- Hydrogenated oils that are very saturated. It creates inflammation in the body.
- Sugar causes inflammation in body. Use it to very low amount, or use small amount of honey or maple syrup instead.
- Refined flour…like white rice, corn flour, etc; instead, choose chickpeas flour, almond flour or quinoa flour.
- Corn, even if it is organic.
- Anything with lectins, which causes inflammations and leaky gut
- Grains or whole grains; consider eating sprouted whole grains
- Additives, packaged food, and processed foods
Consider eating the following more:
- Eat more cooked vegetables
- Berries, pears, kiwis, figs, papaya, pineapple
- Bone broth has amino acids
- Healing herbs: turmeric, ginger, cumin, and rosemary
