Make a Perfect Flaky Crust with a Blender

Preparing a perfect crust is as simple as making a pie. Mix all the ingredients and blend it well. Make sure that the mixture should not be overmixed. If you want that this recipe should have a perfect texture, the thickness of the crust should be at least ½ a centimeter thick. Also, ensure to make use of a correct size pan.

Ingredients Used For the Filling Purpose

  • 1/2 cup of cacao powder
  • 1/3 cup of honey
  • 1 cup of coconut oil
  • 1 cup of cream
  • Almond flakes (is optional)
  • Ingredients for Preparing Crust
  • 1/3 cup of honey
  • 3/4 cups of shredded coconut (unsweetened)
  • 2 ¼ cup of the almond flour
  • 1/3 cup of coconut oil (melted)

Note: Some extra coconut oil can be used for greasing

Directions to Use:

  1. Heat up the microwave to 350oF.
  2. Lubricate 9-inch frying pan with some more coconut oil.
  3. For making the crust, put the almond flour, coconut oil, honey, and shredded coconut, in a blender and blend it till the point coarse scraps are formed.
  4. Move the mixture to the dish and evenly spread the batter at the sides and bottom of the dish.
  5. Bake in the center of the microwave oven until it becomes firm and golden-brown around 15-20 minutes.
  6. Take it out from the oven and let it cool.
  7. For making the filling, pour all the ingredients in a frying pan and heat it on a simmer. Stir it continuously till it becomes combined.
  8. Move the mixture into a mixer and mix it for at least 2 to 3 minutes on high.
  9. Put the filling into the cooled crust and refrigerate it for least 4 hours.
  10. You can decorate your dish with almond pieces if you want, cut and serve.
