Day 2 of Spring Garden Shows: Food Demos at Macys

At Macy’s Culinary Council Kitchen, Chef Amar demonstrated some Spanish recipes. I tasted the vegetarian recipes as well as the Rose red wine that was passed around in a glass carafe with a long narrow stem nozzle from Morocco.

Chef Amar Santana demonstrated Pan Con Tomate, Albacore Tataki, and Paella Valenciana recipes. I have the recipes. I will post the recipes in my own veganized way on separate posts.

At 3 pm, I was chatting with different people and taking snapshots. The 4 pm seminar was cancelled. I drove home at 4:30 pm, where I changed my clothes for the walking group meetup. During the 5-mile walk, I noticed lots of cute and fuzzy goslings, hanging out with their parents by the lake. It was a cute family outing. I also saw lots of ducks but without ducklings. There were also lots of cute brown rabbits hopping around.  It felt like walking through a fairytale park.
