Matthew Cloud and his wife Nicole who were in the company of their six children were having a meal at the Taphouse On The Edge restaurant were surprised that a total stranger paid for their bill by handing Matthew $200 dollars.
When Matthew tried to thank the stranger for his generosity, he left through the front door. The great part of this is that Nicole is known for her acts of generosity by giving money toward the police and first responders as a way of thanking them for their service of watching over the citizens in South Bend Indiana which is the city that is known for being the home of the University of Notre Dame.
Nicole is setting an example for her children that living by the giving principle of giving of yourself by doing good deeds results in the generosity from strangers to pay back the favor when it is most needed.
It is not easy for a family of eight people to eat at a restaurant since the food bill is usually a huge amount unless you have deep pockets.
The stranger who paid Matthew $200 dollars for him to pay for his meal may have been a payback for Nicole’s use of her money to tip the real heroes in her hometown for their service.
Your great story proves that miracles happen in our time with those who do good to others.
That is true since God cares for His children to provide us our needs.
Great story. Proverbs says spread your bread across the water and in a few days it will return back to you
I believe good happens to those that do good. However, it does not always come in a way you expect and its best not to expect anything but do it because its made a mark beyond most boundaries
You are correct since being smart managing money is part of the way we should live a happy life.
Totally agree with your comment here.
Thank you since I read books that were written by the late minister Herbert W Armstrong (1893-1986) that mentioned when he became a minister, his life became full after he lost his laundry business in the Great Depression.
I guess there is such a thing as a free meal
That is true. It is like hitting the lottery.
not really, since you don’t even have to buy a ticket…
That is true because believe it or not I saw on Harrison Avenue in the Lakewood section of New Orleans a lottery ticket that someone dropped on the floor that $1 dollar as a prize.
I do believe it, good for you
I know it sounds strange but I remember it like it was yesterday.
What a great example she is setting.
Nicole is doing some nice deeds that have been multiplied in return.
Karma. Do good and received good karma, do bad and … …
Karma can be like fire. It can warm you up and burn you if you are bad.
What comes around goes around. Such a beautiful act of generosity.
That is what makes life fun.
Yes, and this is something we should always consider.
You are correct since helping someone in need is one way to be happy.
