A stranger pays the food bill for a family of eight inside a restaurant

Matthew Cloud and his wife Nicole who were in the company of their six children were having a meal at the Taphouse On The Edge restaurant were surprised that a total stranger paid for their bill by handing Matthew $200 dollars.

When Matthew tried to thank the stranger for his generosity, he left through the front door. The great part of this is that Nicole is known for her acts of generosity by giving money toward the police and first responders as a way of thanking them for their service of watching over the citizens in South Bend Indiana which is the city that is known for being the home of the University of Notre Dame.

Nicole is setting an example for her children that living by the giving principle of giving of yourself by doing good deeds results in the generosity from strangers to pay back the favor when it is most needed.

It is not easy for a family of eight people to eat at a restaurant since the food bill is usually a huge amount unless you have deep pockets.

The stranger who paid Matthew $200 dollars for him to pay for his meal may have been a payback for Nicole’s use of her money to tip the real heroes in her hometown for their service.

  1. Great story. Proverbs says spread your bread across the water and in a few days it will return back to you
I believe good happens to those that do good. However, it does not always come in a way you expect and its best not to expect anything but do it because its made a mark beyond most boundaries
