With winter not too far away, lately, I have been making trips to the thrift store to look for fall and winter outdoor clothing to run in. Thrift stores are so underrated when it comes to fitness clothing. You would have to be an avid thrift store shopper to know what treasures you can find in a thrift store. Personally, I have found many great fitness wear items at thrift stores. Many to which I have sold on eBay as well, and many were name brand items in great condition.
To make a long story short, while searching for fitness wear, I was sidetracked by a pair of wax coated denim that looked similar to faux leather. The price was hard to pass up, plus I built an interest in wearing them as a pair of fashionable “eye catching” workout jeans to wear while cycling or running the trails. Prior to stumbling on the wax coated denim, I found an Asics half-zip fleece that I was instantly sold on purchasing as one of my fall and winter workout items. Both items purchased costed no more than $6 combined. Total steal huh?
Love the soft blue color.
That was another reason why I was sold on purchasing it. I tend to have majority ‘black’ athletic clothing items. Purchasing this added a new touch to my athletic wear collection.
