The Haute Couture Club

Wednesday, 3.6.19

While on Youtube, I found myself browsing fashion videos. I didn’t really want to think about anything right now. As I watched fashion runway videos, I thought about when I was in my 20s, and we used to go to the downtown Los Angeles garment district on Saturdays to browse through sample sales and roam the LA streets exploring stylish bargains.

But this video is that few very rich women, I think about 200 in the world, who are from high society. It appears to be an exclusive club of certain women, and it is often hard to get into. Newbie women have to prove themselves, as the mingle with the crowd so that the club members can get to know them better. They go after certain high fashion items that are high quality and very expensive in order to always be dressed in a one-of-a-kind outfit. They usually do a lot of charities and fundraisers, as well as attend many parties and functions.

One woman in the video noted that if a celebrity wears a particular outfit, then she doesn’t want it because celebrities are a form of advertising. Once a celebrity wears it, then everyone wants one.
