Love ItLove It

My sense of style and preference for clothing that fits

While shopping at the Salvation Army on two separate occasions, I was approached by clerks on both days and they brought it to my attention that I was in the women’s section. I thought to myself, duh! I see the large sign for crying out loud! I simply responded with “Ok, thank you!”, and continued to shop. Just to throw it out there for all reading, I’m not gay or bisexual! I shop in the women’s section because I like the variety of styles, plus the prices are cheaper for a pair of women’s jeans than men’s jeans, and they fit! So, do not judge me because I’m sure that there are many others out that see it the same way.

As for the variety of styles, comparing the women’s section to the men’s section is like comparing Family Dollar to Walmart. The variety is bigger, plus the styles are much more flashy and colorful compared to the dull clothing in the men’s section. Call me a stylish guy, but I love embellishments and embroidery on my rear pockets, plus jeans with sort of a sheen look to them, but that’s just me. You will also find fancy looking cardigans, as well as flashy boots and scarfs, but don’t expect to see that in the men’s section because all you will find are boring sweaters that look like they were used to clean the stores floor.

And lastly as for clothing that fits, I love the way that women’s jeans fit! Men’s jeans are baggy with the butt portion having the saggy look, which I hate. I’m sorry, but we as men don’t have that much butt to begin with, so why the extra butt space? Maybe it’s just me, but I feel as though I’m getting smaller in size because these waist sizes just keep getting looser and looser, which makes me buy smaller sizes. Sadly, the only jeans I love that are men’s are Levis 511 Strauss & Co, which I have a variety of, but other than of 511’s, I have dominantly women’s jeans and I know my size in measurements. I say, if you want jeans that fit, and aren’t saggy in the rear “tha hell with men’s jeans, unless they are Levis 511 Strauss & Co”.

Below are some of my favorite styles that were put together with some items purchased at the thrift store.

Faux leather jacket, and brigade camouflage jeans

Fedora, faux leather jacket, and skinny jeans
