This is also not for the faint-hearted because trust me, the second you look at yourself in the mirror, there is a high possibility you might get a heart attack. So, how to achieve that glowing skin? How can you possibly get that glowing glass skin? Glass Skin – A term which has gained quite a lot of attention.

We all want that glowing Kim Kardashian makeup look from the Met Gala. Yes, you do! And I am going to tell you all about it. Fasten your seat belts, because you are about to get blown. Well, if you are already aware of it, thank you for your time and we would like to hear more about how you do your makeup. Moving ahead. I am going to go step by step with the process on how to achieve that blinding glowing skin.

Step 1

Kindly wash your face or if you’re too lazy to do that like one of my friends is, invest in a good makeup remover. I only use and trust Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water which is available almost everywhere. I’ll share the link because if you’re too lazy to wash your face I better make this one easy for you. But hey, this is not a substitute for water, that’s an important note.

Step 2

Apply base depending on your skin type. It could be a moisturizing cream, a serum, face oil, etc. So, apply it all over your face, covering all the areas. Please optimize the use of it. We don’t want anything extra on the skin. Let the skin absorb.

Step 3

Choose your foundation or a BB cream, according to your preference and also depending on the occasion. If you prefer to wear foundation as a base daily as I do, go ahead. Start with that. Let’s face it, BB cream does not provide good coverage as compared to the foundation but, BB cream would also work well.

Step 4

Then complete your daily makeup ritual as you do. Don’t apply mascara just yet. That you will apply after I tell you the secret.

Step 5

Now, the much awaited moment has arrived. Drum rolls, please! You all know about the product, you know about the product but have ignored it for the longest time and its time you start paying your undivided attention to. The magic product is Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. Yes, you read that right!

Shocked, surprised, confused? I am sure there are many questions in your head right now. Some might have even stopped thinking and are just blatantly confused. Let me take this opportunity to clear this.

Step 6

As you know it has a thick consistency, so it’s advisable to take a little amount of it. Rub some between your fingers before applying it directly to get the glowing skin. Afterward, apply it as you apply your highlighter on various parts of your face. It can be applied on your cheekbones, on the bride of your nose, temples, eyelids, brow bone, Cupid’s bow, a little on the chin and of course on the lips. It can be applied anywhere in the areas you want to highlight.

To use it more effectively, apply a powder base first so that you don’t feel too greasy and gently dab on the area.

I do this regularly when I go out, even when it’s hot outside. From my experience, it always works for me. This is a healthy substitute for the highlighter and gives you a natural glow. It’s that easy! Do give it a shot; we’re sure you would like it. It’s a natural product made from natural material without causing any damage to your skin. It works as a moisturizer and will give you that professional makeup lookS instantly.
