San Fran Style–Monochrome Grey and Silver

Sunday, November 11, 2018

This post is about getting the San Francisco look, even though if you live in another state or a foreign country. I will list some highlights from downtown San Francisco. It is basically an overcrowded and very expensive city, like any other city, such as NYC, LA, Seattle, and Chicago. San Francisco has its art culture, museums, financial district, fashion district, Union Square, subways, Jackson Square, Pacific Avenue, Washington Square, Chinatown, piers, street food and vendors, and Alcatraz. There is also a central park area, where lots of birds hang out. It is really a fun city, but I haven’t been there since the 80s and 90s. This is the last post I will do from the September issue of C Style Magazine.

  • Steel grey is the color of San Francisco, mostly promoting the business district and the power players who make the area so successful.
  • Cat-eye eyeglasses
  • Pleather pants—because I refuse to wear leather.
  • Black ankle booths with stacked heels.
  • Top handle briefcase style purse
  • Liquid velvet jacket has a silver shimmer
  • Knit grey pants with a matching cardigan and sweater in a head-to-toe monochromatic grey outfit. For variety, you might want to add a black narrow belt, black vest, black sheer hosiery and black pumps, but I would prefer the accessories to be all in grey as well.
  • Stainless steel carafe
  • Macramé earrings
  • Taupe colored tote bag
  • Beige colored pumps
  • Loose wide-legged pants suit, worn with white sneakers and dark sunglasses.
  • Silver quilted pants and jacket, worn with silver and white striped blouse as well as silver shoes.
  • Beige colored pumps
  • Perfume
  • Journal book with a crushed velvet beige cover.
