My Third Handmade Tote Bag (the Second – Inner Side)

In one of my previous articles I presented you the first side of the tote bag I made of two textiles, where one of them is jeans, and here I will present you the second, “inner” side of it, which is actually also a wearable side – the tote bag has two sides.

Unlike the first side which has only one jeans detail – the large outer pocket (you can see the first side here:Β My Third Handmade Tote Bag (the First Side)), this side is completely made of jeans, actually, it presents kind of a jeans collage…

It was one of the first hand/tote bags I made and it was the one my friend liked so she bought it from me. She also made the pictures I’m posting here (in both articles)… We weren’t in contact for several years, and after we’ve met she told me the bag is still the same as she bought it, even though she washed it during that time… She kinda jinxed it because after that the bag got damaged a little bit, but the important and very surprising thing for me was that it lasted for such a long time without even a scratch so that the process I was using to make it was and is good…! πŸ™‚

I hope you will like it and tell me your opinions since I’m thinking about starting again making such things and it would mean and help a lot in deciding which way to start… Β Thank you!

Thank you for visiting and Happy New Year! πŸ™‚

  1. First Happy New Year. That is one heck of a great idea Tasartcraft as jeans material is usually very rugged and still, to this day, fashionable. If I was younger I would buy one from you but at 64 years old, I am sorry to say I do not think it would fit me. But by all means make some more.

    • Thank you so much, very Happy New Year to you too and all the best!!!
Heheheheh, thank you so much, you are very kind and it means a lot what you said..! πŸ™‚ I agree with you and I do like jeans very much, but, of course, not all jeans, it has to have that special effect/touch, like these old jeans for example…..! ;D I’m very glad you like it that much and I have to say do not let your age stop you… πŸ˜‰ Of course, I understand, but just saying… πŸ˜‰ This is a bag I made long ago but unfortunately I do not have any new already made so I couldn’t sell you one even if I wanted, but I am very glad you are supporting making of new ones!!!!! πŸ™‚ Did you mean making new jeans ones or just this shape and the material can be something else too…?
      Thanks again for visiting! πŸ™‚

      • I guess used jeans look better (at least when I was younger, that is what I thought). As for the shape it is perfect just the way it is. I rather like that material by itself as it is sturdy and goes with just about any outfit (except maybe a wedding dress). Anyway great workmanship.

        • Thank you so much again!!! I do agree with you, used jeans do look better and I’m really glad what you think about the shape, I agree with you, it is kinda my favorite too, very practical and looks good too…! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜‰ I must say I like it too… :))) Yes, except that, hehehe… ;)) Thank you!!! <3
