Creating a Capsule Wardrobe for Autumn 2020

First, figure out what is your personal style, which is based on your individual personality, lifestyle, societal trends, current fashion trends, weather, and local environment.

Second, consider texture, designs, patterns, and colors to add personality to your wardrobe, unless you prefer the bland look.

Third, consider other styles in each group to add variety.

Justine lists for timeless pieces for this autumn. The colors for each piece should be in a warm-toned earthy color for autumn season. Lots of browns, beiges, pale warm neutrals, oranges, yellows, and warm-toned reds, as well as warm-toned greens, olive green, and forest green.

  1. Blazer—come in different styles and shapes. Choose the one that most flatters your body type and shape. Young and trendier people might prefer puffer jackets, moto jackets, and fake fur jackets.
  2. Cardigans–some are long, some are short, and some have designs and patterns.
  3. Black pants—which includes culottes, as well as other dark pants, such as dark jeans and leggings.
  4. Cozy Sweaters–knits, wool, mesh, acrylic, etc.

In my case, California weather tends to be mild. It does get cold, but it is still hot now because I still have my AC on. But I noticed the air outside is starting to cool down in the early mornings and evenings, although it is still warm. Weather changes here are subtle and gradual, during each month. So, I tend to dress according to the particular day as well as where I am going. My clothes tend to be for everyday casual activities, such as activewear, and occasional dressing up for different occasions and events.
