My end of April ends with this song popping into my head…
When I woke up this morning, this song was in my head. The words and the tune were in my head, as if encouraging to get up and start my day. But I couldn’t think of the title or singer. I looked up a couple of words I kept hearing in my head, and I found it on Youtube. When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going by Billy Ocean. I remember this song from the 80s, when I was a teenager. I haven’t heard it sing the 80s. it is weird how it just popped into my head one morning at 7 am, as I slowly wake up.
As I watch this video, I notice Kathleen Turner, Danny DeVito, and Michael Douglas singing and dancing in the background. I remember that they were in the movies, Romancing the Stone, Part 1 and Part 2. I have always liked these two movies.
This song seems to be a positive message for me, for today…
