I have read two books by this author.
“The Haunting of Maddy Clare” is the first book she has written, but the second book I have read. The first, “An Inquiry Into Love and Death”, follows along the same time period, and the same subject matter. Ghost Hunting.
This author has such a beautiful style of writing. You feel transported to the time and place, and you feel the fears, the worries, the emotions that the charactes feel.
She’s quite a talented writer, and so I definitely recommend you read her.
