Could it be that there is value and a place for both versions? Could it be that it is simply a matter of preference. Think about Baloo. There is an animated version and a different one. The one year old prefers the one with “real” animals. Grandma Joan likes the other one.
Why does it have to be a fight? Have we come to the point that we are trying to please so many people it has to be done different ways? Or is it a point of greed?
Hard to day, and I think the storyline is the same. Perhaps we should go back to reading books and let our imaginations take care of the rest.

well, my opinion changes just a bit I do like to see all the real animals and yet, my heart belongs to the cartoons.
