The Hollies

This is an English rock group, The Hollies are known for their particular three-part vocal harmony style. They were one of the leading British groups back in the 1960s. The rock group was first formed by Allan Clarke and Graham Nash who went on to form the supergroup Crosby, Stills & Nash. The Hollies became popular in many countries and had around 60 singles and 26 albums.

They finally made it on the U.S. charts with their 1966 single “Bus Stop”. Among their most popular hits are “Just One Look”, “Look Through Any Window”, “I Can’t Let Go”, “On a Carousel”, “Stop Stop Stop”, “:Carrie Anne”,  and “Jennifer Eccles”

In later years they recorded now well-known songs such as “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother”, “Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress” and “The Air That I Breathe”. They are among the few British pop groups which never really officially broke up and continue to perform and record. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.

The Hollies came out with Live Hits! We Got the Tunes! a live double CD featuring their live performances in 2012. In 2013 they went on a world-wide 50th Anniversary Concert Tour.
