The first day of 2020

The first day of 2020…

And so. Cold, with a few strange clouds in the sky and no snow at all…

It’s not my idea of January 1st, but you can’t fight nature!

In my previous post – “The first photos for 2020“, I had mentioned about a lake I was going to shoot.

In particular, I wanted to shoot a church that was built on a hill in the lake.

It’s not big, but it looks interesting.

After taking some pictures and freezing my hands and ears, I decided to return downtown.

Not that it’s warmer there, but I wanted to shoot the empty streets as well.

True, the people who took to the streets were not many, but everyone enjoyed the New Year and the sunny day.

  1. The highlight of my first day of the year with a Bible Study/Devotional I attended in the evening. It was a small crowd of believers gathered at the building. I wasn’t feeling my best but I wanted to start off my year giving thanks to God for His blessings. I was glad to be there. It gave me peace.
