The Best Entertainment Studios in Hollywood

Hollywood: The home of the US film industry with its vibrant American dream and a larger-than-life appeal is where the buzz never fizzles out. Right from the brilliant creative minds to the beautiful and diversified pool of hard-working stars, Hollywood has been successful in capturing the hearts and imaginations of millions across the globe. What gives life, and forms the backbone of this evergreen industry are its vast and magnificent studios, some of which are over a century old now.

The Studio system of Hollywood has given rise to behemoths like Warner Brothers, 20th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, Universal Pictures and  Walt Disney. Considered as the Majors in Hollywood today, these conglomerates are involved not only in the production and distribution of the films but a plethora of other activities revolving around the new age Digital media.

Apart from the Majors, there are the minor-majors, the minors and the independents. This diversity amongst the studios ensures, that films are made across a vast multitude of genres, thereby catering to the needs and tastes of the audiences across all age spectrums, gender, and races.

Warner Bros. a name to be reckoned with has blockbusters such as The Matrix, Harry Potter series, Inception, Wonder Woman and many more hits and it continues to enthrall the audiences with its mind-blowing plots and stunning visuals.

20th Century Fox is the second largest studio after Warner Bros. With movies like The Sound of Music, Home Alone, Avatar, X-men, Deadpool, the studio has entertained generations of movie-lovers and has left a mark on the global stage.

Paramount Pictures having completed a century in Hollywood has also become the first studio in Hollywood to distribute all its items in digital format only. With movies like Interstellar, Shrek series, Mission Impossible series, Iron-man, Kung-Fu Panda, Paramount has been faithful to its name in entertaining the masses.

Similarly, studios like Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures, and Walt Disney Studios have had their fair share of mega-blockbusters over the decades and have been pioneers in their respective fields setting benchmarks for others to follow.

Equally fascinating are the developments in the mini-major studios like Lionsgate, Dreamswork which again have left their mark in Hollywood and also the events in the studio start-up arena with players like the STX Studios already making it big in their initial years while experts question Is This Hollywood’s Next Major Studio? Bob Simonds & TPG Growth’s Venture Fully financed with an IPO coming up soon.

The clear winner, however, is the audience as they get to witness the best that the human imagination has to offer.
