The South Indian cinema industry is as much buzzing as is the mainstream Bollywood film industry. There’s hardly anything to differentiate between the two. Bollywood has definitely gained hype around it, though it doesn’t mean it’s just for the sake of it. It’s a money-spinning industry and the world recognizes it. And equally on terms is Kollywood – Tamil Cinema, Tollywood – Telugu Cinema, et. al.
A number of actors and actresses work in various such regionally-divided industry, though all of them mean just and one thing. And it’s entertainment, entertainment, and entertainment. And the Indian film industry has been one of the top film making industry in the world. Talking about the stats would be a separate story altogether.
Talking about these actresses, there are a few of them listed here – all born in the 1980s. The likes of Anushka Shetty, Bhavana, one of the very popular Kajal Aggarwal, Priyamani, Nayanthara, and the daughter of the iconic Kamal Haasan, Shruti Haasan are some of them.
