The reason he chose music was because he was injured after being drafted in the NBA. Now, his music career has basically turned into an empire after discovering and producing the first few albums of Yolanda Adams, one of the greatest gospel singers of all time. He also had his own reality show on the Bravo Network from 2013-2016.
