Song Saturday ~ Morning Prayer ~ Blair Bryant

This song has been getting heavy rotation on the smooth jazz channel for the past couple of months.  The name of the song is “Morning Prayer” by bassist Blair Bryant.  Normally in jazz, the acoustic or electric guitar is one of the main instruments while the bass is played in the background.  However, Bryant is able to bring a new type of sound with the bass as the main instrument throughout his career.

During this pandemic, I hope that you are taking a few minutes every day to have a time of reflection.  This time of reflection will allow for you to not act rashly in these uncommon times.

    • It’s pretty much the same list, but I get mine from iHeart radio. One thing that I didn’t think about is that these new songs that were released right before the pandemic started are receiving way more airplay now – timing is everything
