Yesterday was a beautiful day, all day, from morning to nighttime because it felt like springtime, and I also noticed that sky was light around 5 pm and 5:30 pm. I woke up early this morning because I wanted to go to Santa Ana to browse and buy these Mexican Duros. I saw them there during the Santa Ana Artist Village meetup, but I didn’t want to carry things around with me all night. So, I decided to return at a later time. While eating my breakfast, I watched an interesting indie movie, The Party. It is about politics, and it is made in black and white, although it is a current movie with Patricia Clarkson and Emily Mortimer.
Then, a cartoon movie came on, My Little Pony: The Movie. I kept the TV on, even though I wasn’t watching, as I got ready for my short excursion/errand. From just listening to the cartoon movie’s story, I noticed it had the same storyline as the animated film, Trolls. The characters in both movies, whether Trolls or Ponies, had colorful and neon long hair, and both were also musicals. The songs sung in both movies sounded similar or at least at the same theme. There was a main character in both movies that want to save her homeland from destruction. The main character in both movies recruits others to go with her on her journey to save her land. They both have the same exact message, but with different characters. It is like both movies are teaching kids to become Katniss Everdeen in Hunger Games.
I googled today’s weather report, and I noticed that Saturday seems to be a nice and warm day in the 70s, although it is likely to also be partly cloudy and breezy. It appears to be a nice day for a short excursion, exploring a remodeled area that I haven’t been to since the 90s.
