This evening, I went on the first day of a book meetup. We met in Woodbridge Village Community Center. 12 people showed up. I knew one woman from Tuesday’s walking meetup at UCI. It was an interesting group of people. I took the current novel I was reading–Stieg Larsson’s 3rd book in the trilogy. We read for an hour, and chatted about the book we were reading. Everyone was reading a different book, depending on their personal interests. I am hoping it will get me back into reading since I get distracted easily or get sleeping after a couple of pages. I used to read more when I was younger, and I need to get back to reading a lot, like I used to.
I like the concept of a book meet up.
I struggle also, but whenever I have patients in my work section that require one on one attention that is typically when I get my reading in. I would like to do it more when I am on my time.
