Brandy Wright considers herself a very lucky lady that a concerned neighbor got her attention when Brandy and her husband came back from a dinner date in Las Vegas Valley on Friday when her auto was in the driveway of her home.
Brandy had taken her auto whose manufacturer was not released to the public in January 2018 to have her auto engine replaced since there was a recall over a defect in the auto engine that needed to be replaced as soon as possible.
Fast forward seven months later. When Brandy was alerted by a neighbor that he saw smoke coming out of the engine that had been replaced, Brandy had a few seconds to get out of the auto as well as her husband since the fire in the engine then spread to the front of the auto and consumed it in flames.
Even though Brandy did lose her auto as well as her purse, car keys and her cellphone were consumed by the fire. She is thankful that she and her husband are alive.
Brandy who survived as well as her husband their near death experience is very afraid to drive the auto from the same manufacturer since she is concerned that the new engine that replaced the recalled engine was the root cause of the calamity in her parkway.
Brandy did not see any warning lights on her dashboard at the time of the auto engine fire which is another reason that she is thankful that the fire happened when had finished driving for the evening since had the fire happened while was driving on the roads of the Las Vegas Valley, she would have expired in the flames.
The auto manufacturer will investigate the cause of the fire in the auto engine if Brandy’s claims that the auto engine that was replaced seven months ago was the root cause of the fire.
Brandy is using this near death experience to tell other drivers when an auto is recalled due to a defect, take it back to the auto manufacturer as soon as possible. It is better to be safe than sorry.
These things are so complex. I’m glad there’s no harm. I hope to prove the fault of the manufacturer, and they get a new car.
Me too since Brandy believes that the auto engine was defective.
It is hard to trust devices that are so powerful. Once I had a new dishwasher catch fire!
It is one negative of having to deal with some appliances that when you least expect it, the machine breaks.
Breaking is bad enough, but burning the house down would be a big No-No.
That is true since losing a home or appliance to a fire is bad news.
if the cost of a recall is less than the cost of a class action lawsuit, they will not do one
You have a good point there in the case of what happened to Brandy nearly getting burned to death in an auto accident with a bad engine.
Business is one thing, criminal negligence is another…
You are correct. It remains to be seen if the latter applies.
If you’re aware of a fatal error in your product and you don’t recall it to save money, that’s criminal negligence plain and simple
whether or not you’re prosecuted for it is incidental
More and more cars are withdrawing from traffic, as factories are late to notice the fault they have made in the production of vehicles.
That is true since the last thing that the auto companies want to do is have to be sued for selling defective autos that can end a life.
They really had great luck …
Brandy admitted that if her neighbor was not there to get her attention to get out of that auto, she would be a goner.,
