The Byrds are the artist for this song. I am not sure if anyone else sang it. I sang this on Singsnap, and that is where I found that the Byrds are the artist.

I want to dedicate this song to Carol that lost her son years ago, and my sister who lost her son a few months ago. I want it to be for all the viewers that have last someone dear to them.  It can also represent tragedies that have hit us, or our loved ones as well.
