The door that connects the kitchen and my backyard is a sliding door, my two cats are very good at opening it even if it is tightly closed, unless locked.
Mine as well. I have to keep the doors locked at night or they will go out. They arent allowed out at night, even though I have a cat fence. A hungry coyote can jump a 10 foot fence. Trixie was too young to open the door back then. I swear they can open a door as fast as I can, the dogs will even ask the cats to open the door. That is a funny sight.
