I really should have paid more attention to the trailer. I read about making an epic film under the great Montana Skies. That was the movie I wanted to see. I had read about the wranglers who had taken care of the stock and the care they took not to disturb the land.
This movie is simply pure hate and violence, at least the part I saw. I actually got up and left. I couldn’t see any possible outcome that would redeem the hatred that I had been exposed to. I typically enjoy a good western, and this simply was not a good western. It’s slow and painful. I didn’t make it clear to the end and I really think the director should return my $15.00. Yes, it was that bad.
