Ho’ Opa’i is episode twenty-one of season one of Hawaii Five-0 and starts in New Jersey. An undercover policeman, Reggie Cole, (played by Sean “Diddy” Combs) is working an FBI case, where he has been infiltrating an organised crime operation for the past two years, is visting his wife and son in Hawaii. His boss, the head of the organisation, is flying out to see his own son.
Cole’s house is attacked and his wife is killed, as is one of the FBI agents guarding him. Obviously, it’s the crime boss behind it, but that seems a little too obvious, and indeed it is.
Cole doesn’t trust anyone now, as the attack had to have been an inside job.
This episode’s name means “Revenge”.
