When I was in town yesterday I passed a group of Hare Krishna devotees singing and dancing in the street, a lively scene! It reminded me of when I saw the same people in New York before Christmas: I was travelling back from Liberty Island on the train and saw the Hare Krishnas in the subway of Grand Central Station. It's a very short video, as unfortunately the battery on my phone died!

Hare Krishna Music in NYC

I visited New York City for the first time a week or so before Christmas 2016, and stumbled across these joyous buskers in the subway! I was on my way back from visiting Liberty Island by train, and passed through the subway of Grand Central Station, which is famous for its buskers and market.

This group of Hare Krishna devotees were there, playing music, dancing, and handing out leaflets. A very invigorating scene! One of my many happy memories of the trip. (Unfortunately this video is very short, as the battery on my phone died!)
