Envious As Hell

Getting to a point where you accept yourself takes time.  After that, you also need to get to the point where you actually like yourself, where you appreciate all that you are, and accept all that you are not.  This is where true self-esteem lives:   It lives in the acceptance of being different from everyone else; being unique.

We all have a certain way of doing things.  I know I do.  I am very aware of my own process.  This is where our unique brand likes to hide.

We might call it a quirk, but really, it is our souls own expression that manifests in the way we like to do things.  My process is more complicated.  I never learn things the simple way.

I guess I enjoy the maze in the process of arriving at my destination.  In this process, we will find the precious little moments that make it all worthwhile.

If you don’t enjoy the little things, you will never be able to appreciate the grandeur of your final destination.

When you have decided to accept yourself, flaws and all, suddenly you realize that you have allowed yourself the space to create, and just be you.

When this happens, your soul blossoms.  Some people call it, your arrival, or your time to shine.

You can’t be a leader if you do not carve out a path for others to follow behind you.

You won’t blaze that trail without making a few people angry, or envious as hell.
