Entertainment On a Budget: Drop Your Cable and Streaming Bill To Save Money

So you’ve been dying to save money for the past few months but you just can’t catch a break!!

Well today I’m going to share with you how you can drop your cable bill and all of your streaming subscriptions so you can save up for that upcoming concert or those new pair of shoes you been wanting for a while.

Now I know you’re probably thinking, how will you keep up with your favorite shows, local news and movies if you drop your cable bill and streaming subscriptions. Like every other human-being, we want to be entertained in some sort of way. Most families have cable, HULU, Netflix, or Sling TV to fulfill that entertainment need.

Well what if I told you that it’s possible to still get that same fulfillment without having to sign your life and your last few bucks away to watch the latest movies and TV shows that we all love?? I hope that your next thought would be, “Tell me how NOW!” Wouldn’t you love to start that new savings account you’ve been preaching about? Wouldn’t you love to be able to go on that Greece trip you’ve been planning since college?

Well here’s how you do it!

First, all you really need is internet nowadays. With the many different streaming channels and sites available to you, you can pretty much watch what you want from your laptop, phone or tablet. As long as you have an internet connection that’s pretty strong. I currently have AT&T and pay a little over $40 dollars a month for some great quality internet. Definitely shop around to see the different prices and internet service providers available in your area. You may just find something better.

I bet your thinking, “What am I supposed to watch now? You need cable or something to stream TV shows and movies!”

Wrong!! WRONG!!

You need two things…

You’ll need to first go and download One Mobile Market. Now in order to watch all the TV shows and movies that you want, you need to keep this on whatever you will be using to stream. So that can be your laptop, phone, or tablet (If you are using an android phone or tablet make sure that you go into your settings> security> device management> and allow your device to download and install from unknown sources, this step is important! For iPhone users, there’s another set of steps that you will take that I will provide in the next step called Moviebox).

Step one complete.

After you download One Mobile Market, you will then need to download Showbox. Here is where all of the magic is!! All of the movies and shows you want to watch. Once you have downloaded the app your device will then ask, “Install with Play Store or One Mobile Market,” you will need to select One Mobile Market since Showbox is not within the Play Store. Once the installation is complete you should be able to enjoy the app. For iPhone users you will need to head over to Moviebox for installing Showbox.

In my next blog I’ll tell you how you can stream Showbox to your TV or xBox so you can host the next big kickback for you and your friends. But for now thank you for reading and look for my next blog.
