The dreaded coronavirus has claimed another legend – Ellis Marsalis, patriach of the Marsalis musical family.
Ellis Louis Marsalis Jr was 85 years old and is a well known American Jazz pianist and educator. He has recorded some 24 albums and was inducted into the Louisana Music hall of Fame in 2018. He has six sons with his wife Dolores including the famous Brandon and Wynton Marsalis.He died on April 1st after being hospitalized with COVID-19 symptoms. May he rest in peace.
Very sad stories happen. I hope it all ends soon.

i saw that – it is very sad that he is gone. His sons and he were and are legends in Jazz!
I followed his sons music for many years.
