Doctor Tony Adkins who is a pediatric neurosurgeon surgery physician assistant has found a way to apply the giving principle of life at the Children’s Hospital in Orange County California.
Tony has discovered by dancing in the presence of children who need some tender loving care at the hospital, he not only makes his patients happy to see someone who they are placing their trust that Doctor Adkins will make them feel better, Tony also feels happy that his patients admire him for his positive attitude.
One good idea for a patient who is ill is to present an image of happiness so that the patient can pick up their spirits by thinking to themselves “If he can do it, so can I.”
One good thing of being in Tony’s shoes is that when parents bring in their children to be treated at the hospital for any illness, they ask the nurses to have Doctor Atkins treat their children since his enthusiasm is the best medicine their children they can receive.
Doctor Adkins has gained the nickname “The Dancing Doctor.” Dancing is a great way to beat the blues any day of the week.
